Kara Kane – Head of Design for Test, Learn and Grow, Cabinet Office
Kara is Head of Design for the Test, Learn and Grow programme in the Cabinet Office.
She leads service design across the programme’s accelerators helping teams to take a user centric, participatory and joined up approach to the work.
Previously she was the Head of Profession for Design at the Government Digital Service. At GDS, she also helped shape the Service Manual and Service Standard to be more community-led, and managed the cross-government user-centred design community increasing awareness and capability in user-centred, inclusive end-to-end service design.
She also writes for the Design in Government blog.
